# Report a Bug

Upon encountering a bug, error or crash you could file a bug report to the C-Change Labs Support Team. To do this, go to **Help > Report a Bug** command in the bimCAT ribbon.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://979736188-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FnnfiqwqMJpMWTZIHDlMz%2Fuploads%2FrzReFNjxjjIgokjt7ynp%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=631c5dae-51ad-48a1-a612-956fcac2e240" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

In the Bug Report window, click the **Generate logs** button and choose the resulting zip-file location.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://979736188-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FnnfiqwqMJpMWTZIHDlMz%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-c76fffabbadfeca87ce704d52f74cd4e6f402d2f%2Fimage%20(121).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

<figure><img src="https://979736188-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FnnfiqwqMJpMWTZIHDlMz%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-fcbe4dfb331fb308d87803c38abc1392dae295b7%2Fimage%20(5).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

After the logs are generated, Windows Explorer will open automatically highlighting the created zip-file.

<figure><img src="https://979736188-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FnnfiqwqMJpMWTZIHDlMz%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-1c7b0e44353d1b5290f8f2ee744598ed98e70836%2Fimage%20(6).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Now you could click the URL in the **Report a Bug** dialog which will create an email in your default email client. Then you could describe your issue in the email, manually attach the logs zip-file you just created and send it to the C-Change Labs Support Team (<autodesk_support@c-change-labs.com>).
