# BIM Climate Action Tool (bimCAT)

**Building Information Model** **Climate Action Tool (bimCAT)** can be [downloaded from the Autodesk App Store](https://apps.autodesk.com/ADSTPR/en/Detail/Index?id=8691868899675781155\&appLang=en\&os=Win64\&mode=preview). It is distributed in a form of an MSI installer **bimCAT\_installer.msi**

It is always installed on per-machine basis and thus requires administrator's permissions for running.

If you attempt to install **BIM Climate Action Tool (bimCAT)** when [BIM Climate Action Tool (bimCAT) Community Edition](/user-manual/installation/tally-climate-action-tool-tallycat-community-edition.md) is already present on your PC, you'll get an error message and the installer will close.
