# Administrative Installation

[BIM Climate Action Tool (bimCAT) from the Autodesk App Store](/user-manual/installation/tally-climate-action-tool-tallycat.md) always installs under the administrator account on per-machine basis, so no special actions are required.

To install [BIM Climate Action Tool (bimCAT) Community Edition](/user-manual/installation/tally-climate-action-tool-tallycat-community-edition.md) from the command line under the administrator account while also making it accessible to other users on the same machine, please adjust your installation scripts as follows:

```batch
msiexec /i "bimCAT_community_installer.msi" ALLUSERS=1
```

**Note**: `ALLUSERS=1` is the critical element in this command.

**Installation Paths**:

* The `.addin` files will be placed in `C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\bimCAT.bundle`.
* The plugin binaries will reside in `C:\Program Files\C-Change Labs Inc\bimCAT`.

**User-Specific Data**: For each user who launches Revit, plugin data (such as configuration files, logs, libraries, etc.) will be stored in `C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\C-Change Labs Inc\bimCAT`.

This feature is available starting from version **0.52.1**.

**Caution**: If you had previously installed the plugin in a different manner, kindly uninstall it first via Windows Apps & Features (or 'Installed Apps' on Windows 11).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bimcat.org/tips-and-tricks/administrative-installation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
